Is working on another GammelGura that will be ready next week, otherwise minor repairs will apply. Has several objects up for fixing. This week, two days disappeared due to a cold (got a little better order in the accounting instead…). In any case, constantly working on shortening queues with both GammelGura and repairs.

Have tested several materials as a basis for guitars on my workbench. The best have been plain bath towels, but they have the disadvantage that skin glue easily gets stuck in the fabric and is difficult to remove. Think I found home now with a 3 mm Yoga mat in natural rubber! Cut the mat into 4 pieces of 61 x 45 cm. The natural rubber is a bit sticky on the surface and the guitar sits firmly while you work. The carpet has good weight and folds flat. The surface is easy to keep clean. Yoga mats are available in different thicknesses, but still think that 3 mm is good for the purpose. Best so far and what I will use in the future 🙂
