Have received more GammelGura ready that I have not reported. GammelGura 39. Levin from 1945. X ribbing and curved side and a new peg stand in an extensive "fix". Good projection and volume strung with Newtone Masterclass 0.11 strings. Old Gura 40. American from about 1925, possibly Regal. Made in Chicago most likely. A darker sound than those…

Old Gura 45

GammelGura 45. An old man who required a lot of cracking in the lid got a special "X" because the lid is so fragile. Something in between "ladder" ribbing and "X" ribbing. The stable was a "mess" with sticky carpenter's glue and holes in the lid under the stable. It took a long time as there was a lot to fix on it. …

Back from Uppsala

The guitar fair in Uppsala was very nice. I want to thank all the interested people that I talked to, it's fun to have such an interest 🙂 The "Rosedale" parlor guitar was sold and bought by one of the exhibitors at the fair on Sunday.
