Was visited by a Framus 8 string lapsteel. The old tuning screws have to be replaced, but getting 4 + 4 tuning screws on a plate is probably almost impossible. Solve Grover 18: 1 Sta-Tite got it. The only ones that fit on the rough-hewn head were the flat head variant. By drilling out…

Two mandolins

Also repaired two mandolins. Bottom of both to be able to cook inside. A cool Stradolin completely in birch from 1936. A newer Ashbury Deluxe prototype made in Saigon / Vietnam. Read more about it here

Got a nice "gypsy" guitar in poor condition for repair a long time ago. Now it is repaired and ready. Had to repaint it completely on the body and say goodbye to repaired bindings made of black-painted knitted hemp strings! Read more about it here

Have had time to work for two weeks with the new batch of 10 GammelGura. One week to disassemble and one week to glue cracks, some pictures of the originals and the situation after the cracking.
