New guitar strap holder

Got me GG 15 from Östervåla, it had been hanging around for a long time. Most of it was perfectly OK, but I changed the grip board and the neck was replaced and the stool leg was milled. Some things have happened lately! Extremely narrow grip board, only 41 mm at the upper saddle. Will live his life as a local guitar, but always for sale at a discounted price.

The K&K mics are wonderful, but the Philips telejack is really lousy. How to manufacture and sell such rubbish is a mystery to me. It isr as made to loosen the shoulder strap and the guitar to fall to the ground. As far as I know, there is only one good solution, it is called Strap-Keeper - see http://www.tapastring.com/strapkeeper0605.htm. It's good, but not perfect. The leather bit is a little well dressed. In the future, it will follow a variant on the same theme with all Old Gura. Found a woven chapel material that is partly thinner and softer than the leather, but at the same time twice as strong.

Old Gura owners can contact me so I send one for postage and material costs, or you can buy the original for 10 dollars from the USA. Feel free to write a line about how the guitar works too 🙂
