Have got more Old Gura ready that I did not report.
GammelGura 39. Levin from 1945. X ribbing and curved side and a new peg stand in an extensive "fix". Good projection and volume strung with Newtone Masterclass 0.11 strings.
GammelGura 40. American from about 1925, possibly Regal. Made in Chicago most likely. A darker sound than the others, must be due to mahogany on the side and bottom. Newtone Heritage 0.12 on it. The fretboard has been replaced and all the posts moved from the old board!
Old Gura 43. European parlor guitar with crazy mother of pearl inlays Mother-of-pearl crushed in a black cloth, probably skin glue and sanding dust from ebony. A playful and a little scary tone but would like to be played. Newtone Heritage 0.11 adjusted a little higher than normal as the strings are soft and bushy - almost like nylon strings.
