Mounting a K&K mic on a floating stable is not that easy. If you glue three sensors under the stable as you do with a fixed stable, you get too much bass and reverb in the sound. Have tested different ways, but this is what works best if you can fit a sensor on the side of the floating stable. The sensor that is folded in under the leg on the bass side rests against the lid and picks up bass, reverb and the natural sound from the lid, while the sensor on the treble side picks up string sound and treble and almost no bass. Both sensors are glued with super glue. The mixture of the two sounds sounds good.
Chose to make a new hole for the telejacket on this bouzoukin.
It is necessary to drill two holes through the lid under the string holder and that all sensors are released from the telecom jack. Only two sensors are soldered back. Pill worse! The wires will of course also be visible.
