Have bought some good stuff. Two planers, mini lawns and a reliable moisture meter.
The big planer is BIG, a vintage Stanly no: 6. To be used for planing ribs and leveling the center joint on lids and bottoms. The blade is newly purchased from Rubanks Verktyg AB and is thicker than the original. The smaller one is a mini planer from which you use the palm, even the one from Rubanks Verktyg AB. A toothed blade was purchased from Lee Valley Tools in the United States. It should be used for gluing thin lids from inside to an edge.
The small rasps are used to sculpt clay, my idea is to use one of them to clean the lid through the sound hole when a rib is to be replaced. Usually there is always some leftover of the old bar that usually is difficult to get rid of! Purchased from Creativ Company. They also have small handy plastic cans with lids that I bought earlier.
Have long wanted to have a humidity meter you can rely on, this is calibrated and should be + -2%. It turned out that the cheap analog meters I calibrated according to the salt method were not directly linear, the calibration took place at 70% humidity and everyone showed 6-7% more humidity than the reality at 40% humidity. Also good with the temperature meter. Bought from ELFA.
Is always on the lookout for gadgets that facilitate the work. Sometimes it works properly, sometimes it ends up in a box åda
