More precisely

At the end, I started working a bit more on the look of details, before the function has been in focus.

  • The upper saddle now receives a little extra care so that the strings are not too deep in the string notch. Brushes a little extra to get it blank too. Lower string height of 1st only snap higher than from a zero band.
  • Works more with the neck to get even relief.
  • Replica stables are trimmed more carefully, a little sad with scratches from coarse sandpaper.
  • The varnish now gets a pass with 600 wet sandpaper and polish oil between the two yards I usually paint on. Gives the paint a smoother and softer feel.
  • The bands are polished with my nice converted pedicure machine and Autosol. Blank!
  • The other side thing on the 12th I drill in with the eye measurement, which has proven to give better results than when trying to measure up.

There are certainly more small details that I do in a smarter way nowadays. Have provided better tools for some parts too, e.g. a good jig for milling the bottom rails when needed 🙂
