A bad day at the Levin factory

One of the repairs was a Levin from 1950. The neck was the runway. When I warmed to straighten the shrink board, I had to replace it with a new one. Glued and planed down the high stable and milled in a new stable leg. I have never come across the situation for oblique stall placement. The stable is placed TWO CM closer to the left edge! A Monday specimen remember, the neck is a bit like the leaning tower in Pisa 🙂 Otherwise perfectly OK condition and beautiful back. Absolute world class on the string pins, light, tacky and without cut!
