* Bling * parlor

Visited the premises and bought an old parlor, circa 1910-1920. It came from Malmö as a payment for a job that the seller did many years ago.

Have fixed to several similar ones and they are a mystery, but I guess they are French and do everything possible to imitate fine old masterpieces with as much * bling *. The difference is that the originals had finely carved mother-of-pearl inlays, these have left mother-of-pearl crusher (actually remnants from the manufacture of mother-of-pearl inlays), which were randomly printed in a black cloth! 🙂

Can also be a Spanish production and possibly from the turn of the century 1900. Got to see a picture of a Spanish classical guitar from 1890 with the same type of mother-of-pearl inlays.  The aesthetics of modernism at the turn of the century where Gaudi uses crushed tile mosaics at Parque Guell or Sagrada Familia.

The entire guitar can be considered a cheat, but that doesn't stop them from sounding good after one Gammel Gura fixed!

Digging the matching shoulder strap hardest!
